Captain Olan has spent his life fishing, hunting and exploring. Olan first moved to Sitka in 2001 to work as a commercial fishermen. Olan, his wife, Maria, and his daughter Ivy live in Sitka year-round. Not only is Captain Olan an excellent fisherman, he is a naturalist and enjoys sharing information on the incredible scenery and wildlife in Sitka, Alaska. Captain Olan takes safety seriously, his boat is a state of the art, clean, and comfortable fishing vessel.
Endeavor Charters only fishes with quality, technique-specific fishing gear so whether you are looking to fish for king salmon, coho salmon, halibut, lingcod or rockfish, Captain Olan has you covered!

Captain Olan was an ideal fishing guide. We caught our limit of fish and learned an incredible amount about Alaska. There were several moments over our three-day trip where multiple family members had "fish on" at the same time. I don't know how Captain Olan managed all of us at once, but every single one of us had a blast. We will be back. After all, we still think we each caught the biggest fish.

Captain Olan was a blast to fish with! My parents and I had never caught a king salmon before this trip to Alaska. However, not only did we all catch one- but day after day we caught the full limit of salmon (and halibut, rockfish, ling and cod). Captain Olan was safe, fun, incredibly knowledgeable and a great teacher. We will be back next year. Five stars (and I wish there were six so I could give Olan one more for all the wildlife we learned about as we fished)!
